Description

BricQ Lego Engineering: Students entering 1st-3rd grade. Students will discover the amazing world of engineering using their imaginations to build fun, theme-based creations using LEGO kits. BricQ will explore physical science in a sports context. Machine Makers focuses on the physical science of wheels, axles, levers, and gears. This program helps foster an understanding of forces, motion, and interactions by providing easy hands-on learning experiences without the need for technology.

BOTS LABS: Students entering 1st-5th grade. Build robots. Build friendships. Build Confidence! Come join us for our Robotics workshop that challenges students to bring their imagination to life by designing and programming robots using LEGO bricks and award-winning WeDo software, each day is a different theme. Superhero School, Safari Expedition, Design Challenge Movie Set Adventure, Space Adventure, and Olympics.

Super Structures 301: Students entering 3rd-5th grade. Students will explore forces and motion with simple machines. Find out how pulleys, gears, levers, wheels and axles, and inclined planes are used from the factory to the amusement park by using Machine Masters K'NEX kits. Students will build Super Structures and learn key science, engineering, and architectural concepts such as force, stress, tension, compression, the design process, suspension technology, and cantilever construction. With the K'NEX kits, students will also be building famous bridges from across the world.

Robotics 100: Students entering 1st-5th grade. Build robots. Build friendships. Build confidence! This program will give students a lively introduction to building and programming robots using LEGO bricks and award-winning WeDo software.
